There are days when Mr. Hudson, 3 going on grown up, thinks that he doesn't need a nap. There are those glorious days when he protests, chatting away with Tractor Puppy, singing everything from ABCs to lyrics all his own, yelling for me that he's ready to come down, fighting back the drowsiness until he finally succumbs to sleep. Very seldom does he actually not fall asleep and very seldom does he get to "skip" his nap. Well, "very seldom" came around yesterday. Since his Auntie KK was in town, she and YaYa took him with them all afternoon to run errands and help them out. On the drive into San Antonio he told them that he just doesn't need to nap anymore....
Oh how I love this precious little boy!!!
So, is a nap necessary? I do believe so. Is skipping it every now and then for some special YaYa time ok? Absolutely! He had a blast...and because it was a "special occassion" as he called it, he even got to share some icecream with YaYa:)
